Factor rate calculator
See what an advance really costs: total payback, your payments, an estimated APR, and how much of your deposits it would take.
How the math works
Total payback is the funding amount times the factor rate. At 1.30, $25,000 means $32,500 paid back in total, so the funding costs $7,500. That total is fixed up front; it doesn't grow over time like interest.
Estimated APR shows the same cost as a yearly rate, the way bank loans are quoted, so you can compare. Because the money is repaid quickly in small payments, the APR of a short advance looks high even when the dollar cost is reasonable. Look at both.
Affordability: keep your total payments to a share of deposits your business can comfortably carry. Many owners aim to keep all advance payments together well under about 15% of monthly deposits.
Estimates for illustration only. Every funder sets its own rate, term, and schedule, and your offer and disclosures show the exact numbers before you sign. How a merchant cash advance works.
